Sabine Dehon is a teacher, Isabelle Faulkner a lawyer.
They met in 2007 in London, when Isabelle was looking for a bilingual independent school and they started to talk about a vision for a rather different kind of offering.
This vision was of a bilingual school, but one that would creatively combine the rigorous academic approach of the French curriculum with the breadth and excitement of the English one.
Thus was EIFA born.
Truly bilingual in every aspect, from the start right up to Years 12 & 13, EIFA is unique in its scope, its ambition and its relevance to today's global child.
Ms Dehon has more than 25 years' experience in education. Ms Dehon has various university degrees including a master's degree from the Université Francois Rabelais in educational science (management and professional trainer and advisor of teachers).
She has been a teacher since 1985 and an educational advisor since 1998. She was the head of the pre-prep department and the French department at a leading prep school outside London. She then created and implemented a bilingual department for the KS1 pupils in that school.
