EIFA is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board consists of international and UK members who have experience in, amongst other things, education, finance and law.
The duties of the Board of Directors include: current and future strategy formulation, business planning, approval of tuition fees as well as policies and programmes. The Board supports the development and operations of the School. All Board members are requested to vote on major financial decisions such as the approval of the annual budget and capital expenditures.
In accordance with our education philosophy, Sabine Dehon, the Executive Head, has formulated EIFA's bilingual ethos. She is responsible for taking decisions relating to the school curriculum, teaching staff and the professional development of the teaching staff. Sabine has extensive experience in all aspects of education, which has led her to develop an international environment applying a holistic and bilingual approach in order to ensure the educational success of every pupil.
Isabelle Faulkner is the Head of Administration and is responsible for the school's management, administration, legal matters, Human Resources as well as liaising with parents generally.

The Shlewet Family is the Majority Shareholder in the School Group. Bassam has over 35 years' experience in the financial services industry and was the Group Chairman of Moneycorp, a large foreign exchange company he helped establish in the late 70's. Moneycorp was sold to the RBS Special Opportunities Fund in October 2011 and Bassam went on to establish several new ventures in the financial, educational and leisure industries.
David Edmunds is a Senior Partner at GEC Architecture in Calgary, Canada. David has over 35 years of experience in building design and construction. A graduate of the University of Calgary with a Masters degree in Environmental Design, David is a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, a Member of the American Institute of Architects and Council of Educational Facility Planners Institute, a LEED certified architect and is a registered architect in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
Thomas Kadri is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a Master of Science degree in architecture. He set up a private architecture practice in London in the early 80s, which soon after became a consultancy for technological implementations. He has spent the last 24 years between the USA, the Middle East and the UK, working on projects ranging from solar energy deployments to digital imaging, e-commerce and web application development, including 12 years as IT and Support Services Director at Moneycorp, one of the largest foreign exchange operations in the UK. Thomas is now Managing Partner of an Interior Architecture practice in Monaco, specialising in high-end, luxury private projects.
